Yesterday was our ultrasound appointment to find the sex of the baby and... IT'S A GIRL!!! Scott is very excited and so am I. Little Josie. Can't wait to meet her. Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. She is so tiny and I can't wait to meet her in December.

17 weeks and 5 days

My belly is getting so big!! The baby is starting to move a lot and I am able to tell that it is the baby moving and not gas bubbles. Every time the baby moves I yell for Scott to come feel, but the baby decides to stop moving the second he has his hand there. I think he thinks I am playing tricks on him. We have been buying little things here and there for the nursery, but we want to wait until the 20th because we will be able to find out the sex that day. Daddy wants a girl, Mommy doesn't care :P

Horseshoe is doing AWESOME. We launched an advertising campaign with BrideAccess.com and we all have a really good feeling about it. We had someone interested in our services, but her wedding date is Dec. 19th. That's 4 days after Peanut is due...hmmm might have to hire out for extra hands on that one.

I'm starting to get that nesting thing people talk about. The 1st trimester, I could care less if the house was clean as long as I could make it to the bathroom to puke, but now I got the bug. Funny. We bought new windows for the house to make it cooler/warmer. They are great and have been working really well. We were most concerned about Peanut's room because it faces West and the front of the house gets beaten by the setting sun everyday. Windows, check. Now we need to paint, get bead board, decals up, crib, and the rocking chair. Exciting!

13 weeks and 4 days!

Ok so I am alive now. I was so sick for at least 6 weeks, and I still have my moments, but I am on the ups for sure! Monday will be the 1st day of the 2nd trimester and I am excited to start feeling a lot better.
We have bought the decals for the nursery, my mom, Karen, Wendy and Whyt all helped make a crib comforter for little Peanut. It's very cute. Then Karen made Peanut some receiving blankets and a little blanket to snuggle with. Jamie showed me some fleece she bought that she is going to make a blanket out of. Everyone is so nice and excited for the lil one to get here. The nursery is going to be green, and pretty much everything at this point is green and yellow. I am hoping to find out this next appointment whether or not Peanut is a boy or girl. If it's a girl we should be able to tell before a boy because the genitals are not formed fully on boys this early.
This is a pic from the last ultrasound at 10 1/2 weeks:

Scott wants a girl really bad and I just can't wait to meet the little one.
That's all for now!

6 weeks

So I am at 6 weeks and I feel like a cow!! The morning sickness has started to set in, but I can't seem to puke, I dry heave in front of the toilet for 5 minutes and then nada. I have been able to keep applesauce and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches down, oh and some ice cream. I hope this part goes fast... :P
Scott thinks the baby is a girl, and I can't decide if it's a boy or girl or both. I hope it's a singleton, but with my luck it's triplets. haha

It's amazing all of the things that happen to your body that no one tells you about. Constipation, gas, cramps, moments of insanity, forgetting where the hell the park is...what was I saying?

We spent some time in Mesquite and that was a god send. We both needed time away from work and the cold. We got to swim and Bronson learned how to swim on his own and Austyn learned how to dive. We went on a long 4 wheeler ride into Arizona and saw the start of the Grand Canyon. On the way back to the cars, we saw a desert turtle in the road. Scott picked it up and got it out of the road so it wouldn't get smashed. It was a very fun and relaxing week. Pics up soon I hope :)

Anyway, more joys to come!

Week 4

So today is this 1st day of week 4. I woke up feeling kinda crappy, but that's ok. I felt better once I got up and started moving around. We shoot our 1st wedding today with the Steadicam and after hours upon hours, Scott finally got it balanced to where we can give it a go. He is such a great husband!!
We leave for Mesquite this Friday for the annual family trip and I am so excited! I feel like I have been needing this vacation REALLY badly, so it will be nice to lounge and maybe get some 4 wheeler riding in :)

Update

Horseshoe Films, LLC is finally up and running! :) So happy and glad all the hard stuff is done.
We did a shoot for the Smart Power Energy PSA and it was a blast. We hired someone to do the lighting for us, because I know I can't do it, plus it's hard to try to direct, set up the sets, lights and run the camera all at once. I'm only 1 person! Anyway, it was great. We had a really fun time doing it. If anyone knows of someone who needs a wedding video done, please send them to www.horseshoefilms.com and they can contact me to set up a meeting. Same thing goes for music videos, tv and web commercials, etc.
Other than that, we have just been working on Horseshoe, our day jobs and trying to keep up with house stuff and family fun times.
My 27th birthday is coming up on Saturday and Scott's 29th birthday is coming up next Thursday. I have decided that when I hit 30, I will no long say "the __th anniversary of my 21st birthday". I will just start counting backwards haha.
This year has been a good one so far. Welcome Spring and warmer weather!!!
